Abortion Snippets / Questions

Some tidbits that I thought of last night, to ask Pro-Lifers or just... whatever. I was feeling kinda depressed, and I channeled that depression into thinking about others (I try to do that to get my mind off of my life--and I think it's helped me to be more empathetic toward the situations of others, and has, in my opinion, made me a better and stronger person):

* Where is the starving homeless war veteran's right to life [protection]?

* Why are we not legally obligated / forced to donate food to our starving citizens? Where is their right to life protection?

* What will you [Lifers] tell the children, if abortion is illegal, whose mothers die of criminal abortions? Will you tell them that she was a criminal, a murderer? Or will you tell them the truth: That to get what you desire, you must be willing to make sacrifices, and their mothers are your sacrifices? What will you say?

* If abortion is a crime, women will once again be at the mercy of men. Rapists will be allowed to decide for women when they will bear children.

* Will you [Lifers] punish the rapists more if his victim winds up pregnant? Why would you? If conception--if creating a new life is not wrong, but is, in fact a gift--a blessing, how could you punish someone for causing a blessing to occur?

* How do you [Lifers] feel about forced surrogacy? What is the difference between forced surrogacy and criminalizing abortion since she could just put the child up for adoption? What is the difference between forced surrogacy and forcing women to gestate against their will so she'll have to "choose" adoption if for some reason she can't or does not wish to parent?

What do you think?
